Laboratory work is considered essential in promoting students’ learning of Science, Computer, Mathematics, Language and Social Sciences. At SHEM star school , labs are designed to nurture the students’ learning abilities so that they may acquire skills and instil confidence in them. Laboratories become a key component to understand subjects more easily. Laboratory activities are always helpful for students. It also increases problem solving ability and renders opportunity to physically interact with instructional material and engage in varied kinds of activities.


Science lab:

Science lab promotes students learning of science and scientific inquiry. In labs, teachers help the students to observe and use their observation in their explanation. For Classes I to VIII, we have a separate Science Lab and for Class IX onwards there are subject wise Science Labs. While students work in physics, chemistry and biology laboratories, it provides them opportunity to question, observe and experiment with scientific phenomena in their quest for knowledge.

Language Labs:

Language labs play an important role in language learning. Language is the medium of communication. SHEM stars language lab will serve as a technological aid for learning as it has a number of advanced facilities that can help a student to learn a language with proficiency to communicate. Language lab is need of the hour and the solution to learn English and Hindi language in a better way. Language learning lab has been specially designed where four skills of reading, writing, listening and speaking will be practiced. This lab involves one’s ability to listen carefully so as to grasp the meaning and to respond in turn with apt words and clarity of pronunciation. The thirst of English language learning is quenched when learning occurs in a lab under the supervision of language experts.

Coding Lab:

SHEM Little stars recognizes the pivotal role of coding in shaping the future and has introduced a state-of-the-art Coding Lab. This innovative space equips students with essential programming skills, fostering logical thinking, problem-solving, and a creative mindset. The Coding Lab at SHEM stars is designed to empower students to navigate and contribute to the rapidly evolving digital landscape, ensuring they are well-prepared for the challenges of tomorrow.
